School...

School had started like one week ago and already i was bombarded with the load of projects that I had to do... Thinking there would only be group projects, I was totally wrong... Thinking that tutorials would be easy, I was totally wrong...

Projects, projects, projects... Can live without them in poly haha... Not only do I have my Major Project to handle, I have to manage with individual projects and group projects... Even though my timetable is quite empty, time doesn't just stop and wait for us to finish stuff... We have a long way to go and have a lot to do... At least one of the modules is e-learning for the whole semester but the problem is without the book = confirm fail... Tried to listen to the online lecture but like nearly fell asleep and it wasn't really productive as I still had to refer back to the lecture slides... Usually if I go for a real lecture some things will definitely go in and when I do tutorials, there will be nostalgic feeling that I heard the answer in the lecture... But this time i don't feel the same... The quiz had questions that were not even found on the online lecture and came from the book... Got a miserable 7/10 for that quiz because there were 3 questions I randomly guessed while 1 question sounds like came in the the previous modules which actually got correct haha...

Sadly saying another project would be due this Friday which is the FILA chart for BSIT... Sucks!!! Tomorrow there is the Technical Proposal Presentation for MP and now Friday got individual project deadline? This sucks... Not to say there is BI tutorial which I haven't done finish and today will be rushing out as well as the FILA before heading out to meet my baby for dinner... Still got online forums have to constantly be replying and doing... Discussions... Tutorial answers online... Time management would really come in handy and I would have to learn to grasp this situation in order to survive the ordeals ahead of me as well as maintain my love life...

Week 2 is crazy enough... Thanks for the support baby... I will support you too!!! <3

So Happy...

Time and time again there are times that will lead us astray but as long as we stand our ground and no waver, together we can push through the obstacles ahead of us and continue to run ahead...

Today I went to my baby's house initially to go gym after cooking but in the end we decided not to and go on Monday instead... Well woke up early this morning to go over but i didn't had much sleep and it was raining so kind of overslept after offing the alarm... So sorry baby...

We also did not go gym as we were going to upgrade my baby's vista to Windows 7 Ultimate... So happy that at least can help her... Just nice also heard that the person that was supposed to pass her the Windows 7 installation had been infected with H1N1... Hope her friend gets well soon... So we started the installation and then went out to shop for food to cook for the combination of lunch and dinner haha... Too bad when last minute reminded to take pictures in the end also forgot to take XD... We cooked calamari rings, cereal prawns and a chicken broth soup that had cabbage, pork ball and fish dumpling...

By the time we know it we ate around late afternoon 4pm to 5pm... Hahah tired and perspired quite a bit as well as the oil splatting all over us and the place... The mother was nice enough to help clean up some stuff for us and she also was given a bowl of soup and prawns for her to taste... It was so cute that she didn't like cooking and like my baby and me were so interested in cooking and we love to cook with each other... I feel like I am part of her family and life already... Feels like since it is a weekend we are not working we are cooking together at home... So sweet... I love my baby so much... Hope tomorrow will be a better day!!!

We are almost there already... 2weeks XD

Yeah!!!

Okay today went out for lunch with baby but in the end we didn't know what to eat... We were just too bored so we decided to cook our own lunch... We decided to have pasta for lunch... So we walked from her house to the interchange Cold Storage to shop...

We bought some cheap mussels which cost only 70 plus cents and then we bought a packet of Parmesan cheese to add later... Thinking we didn't have enough sauce we also bought a can of tomato, garlic and onion based sauce to add on to the remainder... Headed back to her side and it started to rain or should i say was slowing down already... We dash through the rain and managed to go into the mall opposite her house to buy some tiger prawns...

By the time we reached back at her house it was like 3pm and we did not had lunch yet omg... Hungry but my baby so kind treat me eat onigiri at interchange ^^
Started to prepare everything and started cooking... By the time we managed to sit down and eat it was like 4pm haha... Lunch and dinner combined... Save a lot of money haha... Well don't want to be so lor soh about the process but as you can see from the pictures above is the final product ^^

cooking with my baby is so much fun and enjoyable at a cheap price XD

Crabs!!!

Today was a nice and good day to cook chilli crabs!!! This morning baby came to my side early in the morning to go shopping for the ingredients for our lunch cook off... We needed to shop for crabs and onions since the rest of the ingredients were readily available at home for the cooking... Thanks baby for waking up so early just to reach my side at 10am... ILY!!! Even though she forgot to take the recipe it was okay since she already had to wake up so early just for me... Luckily i managed to on my brother's laptop and take a photo of the recipe which actually wasn't really important in the end haha...

So we went to Bedok interchange and walked between NTUC and ShengSiong to shop... In the end we didn't manage to find any instant mix haha... So we just bought our onions and crabs... The cost was not so bad as we managed to feed around a mouthful of 6-7people... We took 2 large crabs and a small one which weighted nearly 2 kilograms which incurred a cost of $36? Wasn't too bad at all ^^ Oh and did i mention it was live crabs? haha...

Got back home and we washed the crabs before killing them... Washing of the mud is very important as we do not want to eat muddy crabs right? After that we fought with the crabs to break the shell off like how my mother does so easily but it didn't really work... My father came to help us but he did it his way... He hacked the crab from the bottom down the middle as close as to the shell as possible and then managed to break of the shell and pull off the body... So he did so for the rest and then we started to prepare the other stuff...

I chopped and diced the garlic and onions as well as slicing ginger... Lots of onions till baby's and my eyes were irritated haha... So we started to steam the crabs and the crabs tasted so sweet by themselves because baby and i had to make sure the crabs were cooked to a certain extent before simmering it with the gravy... After that we put some oil and threw in the onions, garlic and ginger and fried them till their flavours came out and the onions become transparent... After that we added water, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, light soy sauce and sugar... Let it simmer for a while and tasted it for flavour and it was nice... We added a tiny bit of corn starch and thickened it... Finally came it the egg and it was just nice the thickness...

Crabs!!! The last thing to do was throw in the crabs!!! and mixed it all up and simmered the crabs in the gravy... Halfway the gravy became too little and i accidentally added too much water and became a little bit diluted but overall it was still okay for the first try... Not too spicy at all though cause there wasn't enough chilli sauce as compared to the tomato sauce... Also made egg soup with button mushrooms which was a nice compliment to the crabs to cool down the throat... My father, brother and baby enjoyed the meal and i felt a sense of achievement... I know that i myself have started to grow to learn how to cook on my own with the help of my baby... Hope next time will be better!!! JYJY!!!

i love you baby... we made a good team ^^
